A Partner in Biological Control of Aflatoxin Contamination

Circle One Global is licensed by the USDA/ARS Office of Technology Transfer as the exclusive, worldwide manufacturer and marketer of . This patented biocontrol technology was developed by the USDA National Peanut Research Lab, located in Dawson, Georgia. The non-toxigenic competitive fungus dramatically lowers aflatoxin levels in field peanuts, making them safer and more profitable.

On May 28, 2004, Circle One Global secured a Section 3 registration from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, which allows the commercial use of . The registration distinguishes as the only safe, effective and approved method of controlling aflatoxin contamination in peanuts, even in storage, which greatly impacts the reduction of economic losses.

The commercialization of brings tremendous benefits to the peanut industry because there is no other method currently available for reducing and controlling aflatoxin. Unlike many other edible commodities, which have been genetically modified for the purpose of resisting specific conditions, genetically modified peanuts do not exist and neither does the risks of genetic engineering.

Circle One Global is committed to the continued resolution of reducing aflatoxin contamination, as a partner in biological control technology.
