Frequently Asked Questions...

i would like to take my ford 7.3 and use it in another vehicle lke a surban is this possible?

Best Answer...

No, unless the other vehicle is a Ford pickup that originally came with a 7.3L.
You seem to be under the impression that a complete engine conversion on a modern computer controlled and fuel injected vehicle is relatively easy and cheap. It is not. And you think trying to put a Ford engine in a Chevy is going to work? Nothing would match up.
You would have to have thousands of dollars at your disposal, a full shop full of automotive tools and equipment including a couple of welders and equipment found in a machine shop, lots of fabrication experience, and lots of access and knowledge with Ford and Chevy parts in order to do such a project.
Forget it and move on.
